My very first quilt... mommy helped! :) The work was probably about 50/50.

I just had to make one when I realized it was time to thin out my t-shirt collection.... sigh! I love it, though... only problem is that now I need to go buy a new Who t-shirt, since I sacrificed both of mine.... one for the quilt and one for a pillow I'm going to make. Oh well, there's one I've been ogling anyway. ;)

my sister always makes t-shirt quilts as presents. I got one for graduation, my other sister got one as a wedding present, things like that. They do make a very nice gift, and an excellent way to get rid of old t-shirts. Nice job!

*giggle* I love my William Shatner shirt! I bought it just because he's Canadian... I'm really not a big Star Trek fan... hehehe.
These quilts are actually *super* easy to make once all the prep work is done, I think I'll make another one in a year or so, when I can bear to part with some of my 'newer' shirts! :giggle:

Sweet.
I have that Doors tee shirt. Problem is, the only one the store had left was like two sizes too small.. but I bought it anyway... so now I have to lose a crapload of weight before I can wear it lol.

Hehe, neither am I. I thought it was William Shatner but as I've only really seen him on Boston Legal I didn't want to embarrass myself and get it wrong!:XD: Easy is good! Perhaps I could actually make one... hmm.... I could see us both buying t-shirts just to cut them up into quilts!:XD:
