My coworker asked me to help make a cake for her boyfriend's birthday last month. He's a pilot, so she knew she wanted a plane on the cake - and they always play Mario together, so we worked in the Lumas.

She cut out stars while I made the rest, and in the end we came out with this Care Bears-esque Mario/Piper Cub mashup! ;)

I was really happy with the clouds, and will definitely use the same technique again for clouds and bubbles! :)

If I may ask, how did you get the bigger stars er...fatter...I mean that shape? thicker, oh IDK. Just shaped them by hand I suppose?
